The Beechwood Boulevard Bridge was an important structure for me in the 8 years I lived in Pittsburgh. The most important being that it connected me to Schenley Park and Oakland. These photographs are documentation of the quiet ending of its life as preperations were being made for the building of the new bridge. This project also symbolically documents the end of my time in this humble city as my husband and I sold our house and moved to the rural outskirts. The last photograph shows me standing along side the new Beechwood Boulevard Bridge 10 hours after its official opening in October of 2017.
