Finding images of beautiful things in an overgrown or junky intimate landscape is a trend I've noticed going through my contact sheets. The contrast of black and white isn't enough to show off the prize that caught my eye in the first place. I've reprinted these negatives so I could embroider color into the places where there is beauty.
